About the WorkshopsLong Island Improv began in 2007 when the former minister of South Nassau Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Freeport asked Michael if he would teach an improv workshop there. He did, they liked it and asked him if he would make it a weekly thing. He did, they liked it and after a year or so he opened it up to anybody on Long Island. It has been going strong ever since.
